BOISE, Idaho – A huge day by the Lady Yotes netted five NAIA national qualifying marks, highlighting the College of Idaho's competition at the Border Clash, hosted by Boise State, at Dona Larson Park.

Tiana Thomas continued her amazing senior season with two personal best times in the hurdle events – hitting the NAIA automatic qualifying standard in both races.  Thomas placed second in the 400-meter hurdles (1:01.59) – the No. 4 time in the NAIA this season, while her fourth-place finish in the 100-meter hurdles (14.36) was the No. 3 time in the NAIA.
 
Thomas also ran the lead leg in the 4x400-meter relay, as the Yotes clocked the No. 8 time in the NAIA this season (3:51.82) – easily meeting the NAIA "A" standard.
 
Running the 800-meters for the first time during the outdoor season, Amy Pfaff finished fifth in a race filled with extremely talented post-collegiate runners, with her time of 2:12.57 hitting the NAIA auto cut.
 
Also clocking a national mark was Nichole DeGrange, who established a "B" qualifying mark with a time of 57.04 seconds in the 400-meters.
 
In the throws, the Lady Yotes capped a record-setting weekend as Hayley Morse added to her shot put school record, unleashing a throw of 13.39 meters (43 feet, 11.5 inches) – the No. 13 mark in the NAIA this season.
