KIRKLAND, Wash. – Northwest University’s women’s basketball coach, Ken Crawford, announced the signing of two high school student-athletes to play for the Eagles this fall. Majestic Moler of Tacoma, Wash., and Allison Hoff from Redding, Calif., have signed letters of intent to attend the university. This brings the toal to four players now signed for the 2016-17 season.

Majestic Moler, a 5-7 guard, is a 2016 graduate of the Charles Wright Academy in Tacoma and earned varsity letters in three sports at CWA: Basketball, soccer and track & field. Majestic started at point guard for the Tarriers in basketball all four years and was a two-time All-Nisqually League first team selection in her junior and senior seasons. She earned honorable mention honors as a sophomore. In the 2015-16 season, the CWA team made their first appearance in the district and WIAA state tournaments for the first time since 2005, finishing second in the district tournament.

Said Coach Crawford about Moler, “Majestic was a great player at Charles Wright Academy. Known for her on court savvy and her ability to see the court, she is going to be a great compliment to our other point guards. We are excited about her enthusiasm for the game, as well as her excitement about being at NU. She will be fun to watch...and welcome her to the Lady Eagles.”

Allison Hoff, a 5-10 center, will graduate from Shasta High School this spring and has earned varsity letters in basketball and track and field (shot put and discus). A two-time team captain, her 2015-16 Wolves’ team posted 23-6 overall record and finished second in the Eastern/Sac River League with a 9-3 mark. SHS tied for first in the Northern Section Division III standings. She earned all-league honorable mention honors twice at Shasta HS. An outstanding student, Allie earned a Top of the State scholarship, SHS Boosters scholarship and an Emblem scholarship this past spring.

“Alli brings a work ethic to the court that is second to none,” stated Crawford. “Known for her aggressiveness and tenacity around the boards, we are looking forward to her adding another strong element to our inside game. Alli committed to us early in the recruiting process and has had the chance to watch us play, and get to know our program. She is a great addition to NU!”
