Sierra Nevada’s (0-1) goalkeeper, Rachel Marler made 11 saves in goal.

Coach Bryan Chud said after the match, “Good to get off to a victory in our opening match with a good display offensively with 6 different goal scorers, but we were a bit sloppy at times and there is room for improvement going ahead. We have a very strong team with a lot of depth and will be looking for more complete performances in the future.”

The women will take to the pitch on Saturday when they take on Simpson University in Redding, Calif., before returning to Kirkland.
