Red Lion Players of the Week Announced
The following CCC student-athletes have been recognized as Red Lion Players of the Week for their performances during the period August 22-28.
Daniel Christenson
Men’s Soccer - Defensive
Northwest’s Daniel Christenson has been named the Red Lion Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
Christenson, a junior from Bothell, Wash., was solid in goal for the Eagles on their three game road trip earning two shutouts and allowing just one goal in 270 minutes of play. He averaged 3.67 saves per game as NU opened their season with a 3-0 record.

Rodrigo Portillo
Men’s Soccer- Offensive
Carroll’s Rodrigo Portillo has been named the Red Lion Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
Portillo, a freshman from Guatemala City, Mexico, scored three goals and added an assist in three games this week. He led the Saints to impressive wins over MSU Billings and The Master's and scored an overtime game winner in the win. He also tallied an assists against Westminster.

Brenna Meehan
Volleyball – Attacker
College of Idaho’s Brenna Meehan has been named the Red Lion Volleyball Attacker of the Week.
Meehan, a junior from Post Falls, Idaho, had a huge weekend in helping the Lady Yotes go a perfect 4-0 against top-level competition at the Big Sky Challenge. She averaged 4.6 kills and over three digs per set in the four wins - including 20 kills in a come-from behind win vs. Montana Tech

Kilee Lopez
Volleyball - Defender
College of Idaho’s Kilee Lopez has been named the Red Lion Volleyball Defender of the Week.
Lopez, a junior from Caldwell, Idaho, had 71 digs and eight aces in the Yotes four wins at the Big Sky Challenge

Jayde Folsom
Volleyball - Setter
College of Idaho’s Jayde Folsom has been named the Red Lion Volleyball Setter of the Week.
Folsom, a senior from Gresham, Ore., had a monster weekend, directing the Coyote attack. She surpassed her career-high three different times in Butte - including a 4-set career high of 57 assists vs. Montana Western, while recording a 5-set career high of 61 assists vs. Montana Tech

Jessica Parker
Women’s Soccer Defensive
Eastern Oregon’s Jessica Parker has been named the Red Lion Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
Parker, a senior from Boise, Idaho, recorded three saves in a 3-1 win over Lewis & Clark.

Tiffany Taylor
Women’s Soccer Offensive
Northwest’s Tiffany Taylor has been named the Red Lion Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
Taylor, a senior from Klamath Falls, Ore., scored a goal in each of the Eagles first two games and added an assist against Sierra Nevada. The Eagles are off to their best start since 2010.
