Red Lion Players of the Week Announced
The following CCC student-athletes have been recognized as Red Lion Players of the Week for their performances during the period September 12-18.
Dylan Alexander
Men’s Cross Country
Southern Oregon’s Dylan Alexander has been named the Red Lion Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week.
Racing at University of Washington's loaded Sundodger Invitational, Alexander a senior from Encino, Calif., was the 13th finisher overall and second among NAIA runners in a 291-person field, completing the 8K course in 24:49. He was one of five Raiders in the top-50, leading them to a fifth-place finish of 28 teams.

Max Schellmann
Men’s Soccer - Defensive
Northwest’s Max Schellmann has been named the Red Lion Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
Schellmann, a junior from Ansbach, Germany, had solid play in the back line contributed to the Eagle defense limiting their opponents to one goal in 180 minutes of play. He scored the game winner in the Eastern Oregon game with a header in the 61st minute of play. Had another goal disallowed in the Warner Pacific game on an offside call.

Dakota Scott
Men’s Soccer - Offensive
Southern Oregon’s Dakota Scott has been named the Red Lion Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
Scott, a senior from Tacoma, Wash., recorded the first hat trick in the brief history of SOU men's soccer Friday, doing all of his damage before halftime in an 11-0 win at Walla Walla.
On Saturday he scored again, knocking in a header as the Raiders scored three goals in a span of 15 minutes during the second half for a 3-0 win at Multnomah.

Emma Gasman
Volleyball – Attacker
Southern Oregon’s Emma Gasman has been named the Red Lion Volleyball Attacker of the Week.
Gasman, a senior from Clovis, Calif., posted a career-high 23 kills on just 39 swings for a .538 average and went for five blocks Friday at Multnomah.
The next night, she had 21 more kills in a five-set comeback win at Warner Pacific, including five in the fourth set and four in the tiebreaker.

Leia Roy
Volleyball - Defender
Northwest’s Leia Roy has been named the Red Lion Volleyball Defender of the Week.
With her 36 digs this weekend, Roy, a senior from Puyallup, Wash., has established a new school record for career digs. She now has 1,625 digs, 204 so far this season and is ranked No. 31 in the NAIA in digs per set with a 5.370 dpg average.

Rachelle Chamberlain
Volleyball - Setter
Eastern Oregon’s Rachelle Chamberlain has been named the Red Lion Volleyball Setter of the Week.
Chamberlain, a senior from Challis, Wash., averaged 37 assists in two wins for Eastern over the weekend.

Sierra Brown
Women’s Cross Country
Northwest Christian’s Sierra Brown has been named the Red Lion Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week.
Brown, a senior from Jacksonville, Ore., posted the fourth-fastest time in NCU history, guiding the Beacons to a second-place finish at the Bill Dellinger Invitational behind NCAA No. 3 ranked University of Oregon.
Brown was second overall finishing just two seconds behind the winning runner from Oregon State University. She also finished ahead of all University of Oregon runners. NCU finished just 12 points behind the Ducks (39-51).

Chelsey Nicol
Women’s Soccer Defensive
Eastern Oregon’s Chelsey Nicol has been named the Red Lion Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
Nicol, a sophomore from Rio Rancho, N.M., was a key defensive stopper for EOU in the two shutouts, in addition to scoring a game-winning goal vs. Northwest.

Michaela Kueffler
Women’s Soccer Offensive
Carroll’s Michaela Kueffler has been named the Red Lion Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
Kueffler, a senior from Billings, Mont., scored a game-winning-goal against Northwest Christian and earned an assist against Corban to lead the Saints to a 2-0 start to Cascade Conference play on their longest road trip of the conference season.
