College Place, Wash.- College of Idaho (3-3) defeat the Wolves (0-3) 8-0 today.  The Yotes did a great job of controlling the ball, and finished the game with a total of 23 shots on goal.  While the Wolves showed massive improvement over their last contest, they still struggle to get shots on goal.  Cole Fuller lead the Yotes, with two goals and an assist on the day and Tyler Sharp finished with a goal and an assist.

The Wolves defense stepped up, when asked about the defense, Coach Williams said that, “Having Josh (Fry, Goalkeeper) back at goal made a big difference.  He’s a leader and communicating to the back line, you could see a big difference.”  While Josh had a big impact on the game, College of Idaho score their first goal just passed the 18-minute mark, with a goal by Tyler Sharp.  A long stretch of even play would pass before Cole Fuller would find the goal at right around 38 minutes.  College of Idaho’s dominate of ball control and relentless attack on the goal paid off.

The second half was a different story, the Yotes quickly got on the board, with another goal from Cole Fuller.  The Yotes kept the pressure on the goal to start the second half.  Defender Jonathan Lindsey had to leave the game with an injury at the 50-minute mark, and right away Daniel Carmago and Guilherme Siqueira put in goals all under the 60-minute mark.

College of Idaho would put in three more goals before the night was over.  Even with the six goal second half the play overall was definitely better by the wolves.  Martin Chinn’s play stood out, “Martin is one of our team leader’s, he’s a senior, he has a lot of experience he has a lot of respect from the other players and we except that from him.”

College of Idaho is back in action tomorrow night, they head to Portland, Ore. to take on Multnomah University.  Wolves host #25 Rocky Mountain College on Sunday at 1 p.m.
