KLAMATH FALLS, Ore.-  Corban University (6-5-0, 2-2-0 CCC) scored a goal in each half on the way to a 2-1 Cascade Conference women’s soccer win over host Oregon Tech (2-6-1, 0-1-1 CCC)  Saturday afternoon at the OIT Soccer Pitch.

Randi Donahue scored the first goal of the game for Corban in the 25th minute taking a free ball, dribbling past a Tech defender and beating the keeper in the lower left of the goal for the half’s only score.

Tech got the equalizer in the 64th minute as Karah McCulley converted a penalty kick after a Warrior defender was whistled for a hand ball in the box.

The game didn’t stay tied for long as the Warriors stormed back to take the lead just two minutes later as Lexi McQueary headed in the game winner on a fantastic cross from Donahue. The header found the upper right corner just over Tech’s keeper’s hands in the 66th minute.

Corban held a 17-16 edge in shots on goal for the game with an 8-6 edge in shots on goal.

Oregon Tech will hit the road next weekend playing at Eastern Oregon next Friday in La Grande, Oregon. Corban will head home to play Northwest Christian next Saturday.
