Red Lion Players of the Week Announced
The following CCC student-athletes have been recognized as Red Lion Players of the Week for their performances during the period September 19-25.
Montana Frame
Men’s Golf
Oregon Tech’s Montana Frame has been named the Red Lion Men’s Golfer of the Week.
Frame, a senior from Reedsport, Ore., had a solid weekend leading all CCC players with a 206, finishing in 2nd place leading the Owls to a 3rd place overall finish at the Coastal Collegiate Classic.

Garrett Byrd
Men’s Soccer - Defensive
Oregon Tech’s Garrett Byrd has been named the Red Lion Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
A junior defender from Medford, Ore., Byrd’s solid play in the back line helped the Owls to post two victories this weekend against NCU and nationally ranked Corban. Byrd played all 180 minutes, while holding the two opponents to a combined 19 shots, including keeping Corban to 9 total shots, which is half the shots they have been averaging to this point in the season.
The Oregon Tech defense has kept 3 clean sheets and only conceded 1 goal in CCC play and is now ranked 3rd in NAIA with 6 total Shutouts.

Nolan Sherwood
Men’s Soccer - Offensive
Rocky Mountain’s Nolan Sherwood has been named the Red Lion Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
Sherwood, a sophomore from Las Vegas, Nev., recorded five goals and three assists on the week in two wins.

Emma Gasman
Volleyball – Attacker
Southern Oregon’s Emma Gasman has been named the Red Lion Volleyball Attacker of the Week.
Wednesday's match against Oregon Tech marked the third straight in which Gasman, a senior from Clovis, Calif., has recorded 20-plus kills, making her the first Raider to do so in Josh Rohlfing's 10 years as head coach. On the week, she hit at an average of .373.

Haley Wells
Volleyball - Defender
Corban’s Haley Wells has been named the Red Lion Volleyball Defender of the Week.
Wells, a junior from Albany, Ore., totaled 36 digs on the weekend in a pair of crucial CCC wins over Evergreen and No. 20 Northwest.

Madison McLain
Volleyball - Setter
Corban’s Madison Mclain has been named the Red Lion Volleyball Setter of the Week.
Mclain, a sophomore from Albany, Ore., dished out 77 assists in two big wins over Evergreen and No. 20 Northwest on the weekend.

Heidi Froelich
Women’s Golf
Oregon Tech’s Heidi Froelich has been named the Red Lion Women’s Golfer of the Week.
Froelich, a senior from Bend, Ore., fired a tournament best final round 74 leading the Owls to the Coastal Classic Title while she grabbed medalist honors.

Jamie Carter
Women’s Soccer Defensive
Carroll’s Jaime Carter has been named the Red Lion Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
Carter, a senior from Camas, Wash., played 200 minutes at goalkeeper and allowed zero goals. Led the Saints to a 1-0-1 record on the weekend. It was her fifth shutout in six games for the Saints.

Megan McArthur
Women’s Soccer Offensive
Southern Oregon’s Megan McArthur has been named the Red Lion Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
McArthur, a senior from San Jose, Calif., Registered the second two-goal game of her career in Friday's 5-0 defeat of Corban, and helped the Raiders start 2-0 in conference play for the first time since 2000 with the go-ahead score in Saturday's 2-0 defeat of Northwest Christian
She's scored nine goals in her last 12 games played, and she moved in to sixth place on SOU's career list with 17 goals.
Honorable mention: None
