FINAL RESULTS
 
NAMPA, Idaho. – Sophomore Jebarri Cumberbatch won the men’s 60m dash with a school-record time of 6.91 seconds, and the EOU track & field team notched five NAIA standard marks at Saturday’s Bronco Invitational in Nampa, Idaho.
 
Hailing from Christ Church, Barbados, Cumberbatch trounced his pervious time of 6.93 seconds, which he set as a freshman. He later carded third in the 200m dash after crossing the line at the 22.18 mark.
 
Along with Cumberbatch, three other Mountaineers clinched NAIA qualifying marks in junior Matthew Kirkendall, sophomore Thomas Morrell III, and junior Josh Wallin. In the finals of the men’s 60m hurdles, Kirkendall topped his previous mark of 8.29 seconds to set a new school record with a time of 8.27. He finished second overall and just reached the NAIA ‘A’ standard time. Wallin and Morrell III went 1-4, respectively, in the 600m run with times of 1:20.66 and 1:21.52, both of which were NAIA ‘A’ standards. Morrell III also won the 800m run with a ‘B’ standard time of 1:56.48.
 
On the women’s side, the finals of the 600m run saw freshman Elizabeth Herbes clock a time of 1:38.58 on the way to snagging a ninth-place finish out of 18 runners, while senior Rachel Roelle took 12th in the 3000m with a mark of 10:55.51.
 
Switching to field events, EOU senior Harley McBride finished tied for fifth in the high jump after clearing 1.61m (5-3.25), while sophomore Morgan Reddington posted 5.24m (17-2.25) in the long jump en route to placing 15th out of over 50 competitors.
 
In the men’s pole vault, freshman Porter Cline cleared 4.35m (14-3.25) to take seventh, and senior Nic Maszk paced the Blue and Gold in the one-mile run with a seventh-place finish (4:32.25).
