Red Lion Players of the Week Announced
The following CCC student-athletes have been recognized as Red Lion Players of the Week for their performances during the period September 25 - October 1.
Mark French
Men’s Cross Country
Mark French of Oregon Tech. has been named the Red Lion men’s cross country Runner of the Week
French, a sophomore from Tualatin, Ore., finished 6th with a time of 24:49, recording as the second fastest time in school history as well as the first CCC runner. French finished 7.3 seconds ahead of returning all-American senior, Nic Maszk from Eastern Oregon.

Isaac Calderon
Men’s Golf
Isaac Calderon of Corban has been named the Red Lion men’s Golfer of the Week
Calderon, a sophomore from La Quinta, Calif., tied for first overall as an individual, leading the Warrior ‘B’ team to a second-place finish at the NCU Invitational. The only team to finish ahead of Corban’s ‘B’ team was Corban’s ‘A’ team.

Jordan Farr
Men’s Soccer – Defense
Corban’s Jordan Farr has been named the Red Lion men’s soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
Farr, a senior Goalie from Turner, Ore., racked up seven saves in a pair of shutout wins over the weekend, lowering his goal-against-average to 0.88 on the year. For his performances, he was named to the USLPDL Top Performers List for the Week. As the only NAIA Goalkeeper listed in the ‘PDL Top-50 Prospect List’ and ‘PDL Top College Players to Watch’ list, Farr continues to approach the NAIA All-Time Shutout record.

George Holloway
Men’s Soccer - Offense
George Holloway of Providence has been named the Red Lion men’s soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
Holloway, a sophomore Forward from Mansfield, England, had a big weekend in UP’s two wins. He started by scoring 2 goals in the team’s 4-0 win over Warner Pacific. He then assisted the team’s first goal against Eastern Oregon with a perfect splitting ball to fellow Forward, Christoffer Bisbo. Holloway has already surpassed his 2016 goals, 4 goals, and his 2016 assists total of 1.

Natalie Taylor
Volleyball - Attacker
Evergreen’s Natalie Taylor has been chosen as the Red Lion volleyball attacker of the week.
Taylor, a junior from Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, led the Geoducks to a pair of victories by averaging 5.5 kills per set while hitting a .375 clip. Her .457 attack percentage against Multnomah is a new career single-match personal best for Taylor, surpassing a .409 which she had in an early season victory over UC Merced.

Haley Damian
Volleyball - Defender
Haley Damian of Northwest Christian has been chosen as the Red Lion volleyball defender of the week.
Damian, a senior from Eugene, Ore., had another strong week recording a 4.78 dig-per-set average. NCU went undefeated on the week including just their third win ever against Southern Oregon, a match in which Damian collected 19 digs.

Maci Beierle
Volleyball-Setter
Northwest Christian’s Maci Beierle has been named the Red Lion volleyball Setter of the Week.
Beierle, a senior from Yakima, Wash., continues to run a commanding offense that hit .251 this week. She collected 31 assists in NCU’s third-ever victory against SOU and added 34 in the sweep of Oregon Tech. Beierle also displayed well-timed dumps with eight kills and a .304 attack percentage of her own.

Danielle De Castro
Women’s Cross Country
Danielle De Castro of Oregon Tech has been named the Red Lion women’s cross country Runner of the Week
De Castro, a junior from Seattle, Wash., took 3rd place with a time of
17:52, the fastest time run by an Owl at the 43rd Annual Charles Bowles Willamet meet ever. The closest CCC runner behind De Castro was 28 seconds back.

Natalie Mullins
Women’s Golf
College of Idaho’s Natalie Mullins has been named the Red Lion women’s Golfer of the Week
Mullins, a junior from Eagle, Idaho, earned medalist honors for the third time in her career, carding the two lowest scores in the NCU Invitational.

Hannah Ceciliani
Women’s Soccer – Defense
Southern Oregon’s Hannah Ceciliani has been named the Red Lion women’s soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
Ceciliani, a freshman Goalie from Sisters, Ore., helped the Raiders to their second and third straight shutouts. The six saves against Corban recorded as Ceciliani’s most in a shutout this season.

Cassidy Gosvener
Women’s Soccer – Offense
Oregon Tech’s Cassidy Gosvener has been named the Red Lion women’s soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
Gosvener, a junior Forward from Vacaville, Calif., had the game tying goal and the game winning goal during overtime in OIT’s 2-1 win over Corban. Additionally, she had the game-winning goal against Northwest Christian, putting the Owls at a 2-0 weekend on the road.
