Lady Owls Crush Lions
KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Oregon Tech improved to 6-0 lifetime against Multnomah with a 3 set sweep (25-19, 25-18, 25-20) over the Lions Saturday night at Danny Miles Court.
In the first set Multnomah took an early at 8-6, Tech rallied and took a 19-17 lead before finishing on a 6-1 run to win 25-19.
In set 2, both teams battled and were tied 11 times the last 17-17 before OIT again finished strong taking 8 of the final 10 points to win 25-19.
Multnomah dominated to start the third set taking leads of 5-0, 9-3, and 14-10 before OIT took over again late, this time tying the game at 17 and then going on to win 25-20.
Chase Bohman led the Owls with 12 Kills with Whitney Webster adding 10 kills in the win.
For the match the Owls had a very good .309 hitting percentage while holding the Lions to a .105 percentage.
Oregon Tech will next travel to Washington next weekend for games at Northwest and Evergreen State.
