Search Begins for Women’s Soccer Coach to Start New Program at Multnomah
PORTLAND, Ore. – A nationwide search is now under way by Multnomah University to find a head coach for the institution's newest intercollegiate sports program, women's soccer, which will begin play in the fall of 2018, as announced by Lions' athletics director
Lois Vos Monday afternoon.
Interested candidates may find the job description posted at

The addition of women's soccer brings the number of sports at Multnomah to 13, joining men's soccer, women's volleyball, and basketball, cross country, indoor and outdoor track and field, and golf for both men and women. Multnomah competes in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics and the Cascade Collegiate Conference.
The women's soccer team will play its home matches at Delta Park in north Portland, the same site as the men's program. In conference play, the men's and women's teams will play doubleheaders. The addition of Multnomah will bring the number of CCC women's teams to 13.
"There is no particular deadline for us to hire the new coach," says Vos, "although it would be nice if we could have someone on board by mid-November to start recruiting. We'll hire the right person when that person shows up!"
