PORTLAND, Ore. – For the fourth-straight match, the Corban University women's soccer team came out on top with a 2-1 win, as on Friday, it was the Warriors defeating the Warner Pacific College Knights on the road. The victory keeps the Navy and Gold in the hunt for the Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) regular-season title heading into the final day of the regular season.

After falling behind in the first half in the 12th minute of play when Mackenzie Ancien scored for the Knights, the Warriors responded well when Lexi McQueary fed Nadine Correa with a beautiful pass, and Correa made no mistake, burying her shot to tie the contest in the 17th minute.

Corban then turned up the tempo in the second half, and it was Annouscka Kordom that found the finishing touch in the 60th minute, blasting home the game-winner. For Kordom, it was her team-leading eighth goal of the year and sixth game-winner.

The Warriors then locked down from there on out defensively, registering the crucial CCC triumph.

Corban finished the match with a 13-6 shots advantage, and racked up nine corner-kicks to just three for Warner Pacific.
