Lady Owls Stay Hot Win 4th Straight
KLAMATH FALLS, Ore.- Salyna Blue scored twice to lead Oregon Tech to a 3-0 Cascade Conference win over Warner Pacific College Friday afternoon at the OIT Soccer Pitch. The win for OIT was its fourth straight CCC win as the Owls improve to 4-1-0 in CCC play and 6-4 on the year, WPC falls to 3-4-3 overall and 1-1-3 in conference play with today’s result.
After a tightly played first part of the game the Owls were able to strike first with a goal from Junior Salyna Blue off of an assist from Junior Ellie Quercia. After the break the Owls picked up where they left off, with Quercia finishing a goal of her own off of a cross from Junior Cassidy Gosvener. The scoring finished with another goal from Blue in the 85th minute. The Owls outshot the Knights 16-4 and were even on corner kicks with 4 each.
Megan Green picked up the win and continues her shutout streak after her shutout vs NCU last weekend.
"This group continues to fight hard for each other and comes focused every day. This was a hard earned win where we were able to showcase some different offensive dimensions of our team. Tom, Nate, Chrish and I are very proud of the ladies and we are looking forward to continuing this progress tomorrow vs EOU."

st place Eastern Oregon University Saturday at 12:00 PM at the OIT Soccer Pitch. Eastern Oregon knocked –off Southern Oregon 4-0 on Friday as they improved to 5-0 in CCC play.
