Red Lion Players of the Week Announced
The following CCC student-athletes have been recognized as Red Lion Players of the Week for their performances during the period November 6-12.
Ben DeSaulnier
Men’s Basketball
Ben DeSaulnier of Southern Oregon has been named the Red Lion men’s basketball Player of the Week.
DeSaulnier, a senior guard from Philomath, Ore., made his first four 3-point attempts on his way to 29 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals in SOU’s 91-79 win at Simpson. In the first half alone, DeSaulnier scored 20 points. This weekend’s performance moved him up three spots to No. 4 on SOU’s career points list (1,552).

Houston Knox
Men’s Golf
Oregon Tech’s Houston Knox has been named the Red Lion men’s Golfer of the Week.
Knox, a senior from Mckinleyville, Calif., helped lead his team to finish second in the Menlo Pacific Coast Invite with an individual course par of 72.

Adrian Lyons-Lopez
Wrestling
#7 Adrian Lyons-Lopez of Providence has been named the Red Lion Wrestler of the Week.
Lyons-Lopez, a junior from Albany, Ore., finished third in the stacked Grand View Open, going 4-1 with three pins. His only loss was to Taylor Lujan of Northern Iowa, the 10th ranked wrestler in NCAA Division I.

Jordan Woodvine
Women’s Basketball
Corban’s Jordan Woodvine has been named the Red Lion women’s basketball Player of the Week.
Woodvine, a sophomore guard from Salem, Ore., scored 25 points and grabbed nine rebounds in a great win over William Jessup on Saturday. She followed her high-scoring streak with a 15-point, six-rebound performance on Sunday.

Stephanie Koza
Women’s Golf
Oregon Tech’s Stephanie Koza has been named the Red Lion women’s Golfer of the Week.
Koza, a sophomore from Mililani, Hawaii, won her first ever Collegiate Tournament with the top two rounds of the tournament leading OIT to a women’s title.
