Red Lion Players of the Week Announced
The following CCC student-athletes have been recognized as Red Lion Players of the Week for their performances during the period November 13-19.
Aziz Leeks
Men’s Basketball
College of Idaho’s Aziz Leeks has been named the Red Lion men’s basketball Player of the Week.
Leeks, a senior forward from Las Vegas, NV, recorded 3-straight double doubles against outstanding competition (DII NNU and two NAIA DI teams). Leeks averaged over 14 points and 12 rebounds per game, tying a career-high with 13 rebounds versus LCSC.

Devin Poppen
Wrestling
#4 Devin Poppen of Southern Oregon has been named the Red Lion Wrestler of the Week.
Poppen, a junior from Oregon City, Ore., went 5-1 on the week, winning in SOU’s 27-18 dual victory at Eastern Oregon and placing 2nd on Sunday at the Spokane Open.

Jessica Sexson
Women’s Basketball
Jessica Sexson of Eastern Oregon has been named the Red Lion women’s basketball Player of the Week.
Sexson, a senior guard from Corvallis, Ore., scored 13 points in the first half against the No. 9 ranked team in NCAA Division III in Whitman. Sexson kept the Mountaineers close in the game with her first half performance, as the team trailed just 34-29 after 20 minutes. The senior shot 6-for-6 in the first half and 7-for-8 overall as she gave her teammates time to find their shots late in the victory as EOU pulledaway 73-64.
