Southern Oregon University Leads All-Sport Standings
LA GRANDE, Ore. – With five fall championships completed Southern Oregon University leads in the Cascade Collegiate Conference All-Sports Champion race.
The Raiders earned first place points for their 10
th consecutive championship in men’s cross country, as well as, splitting points with Rocky Mountain College for their co-championship in men’s soccer. SOU also earned points in women’s cross country with a 3
rd place finish. Women’s soccer and volleyball each finished in 5
th place for an SOU total 113.32 points.
In second place with 101.11 points is Corban University. The Warriors earned first place points in volleyball, 3
rd place points in men’s soccer and 4
th place in women’s soccer Corban harriers bolstered the fall sports tally with a 4
th place finish in women’s cross country.
The College of Idaho, Oregon Tech and Eastern Oregon University round out the top 5 with 100.74, 98.7 and 97.22 points respectively. CI was second in both men’s and women’s cross country and split points with EOU and NU in volleyball. OIT earned their first championship in women's cross country and EOU did the same in women’s soccer.
