DI and NAIA Learfield Directors’ Cup Standings Released
CLEVELAND – In the first set of NAIA Learfield Directors' Cup standings,
British Columbia has a perfect score of 200 points to lead the NAIA standings.
Michigan scored in all three sports, placing third in women’s field hockey, ninth in women’s cross country and 10
th in men’s cross country.
British Columbia takes the early lead in NAIA by capturing the men’s and women’s cross country titles.
In NAIA,
Oklahoma City is in second with 170 points, coming in third in both men’s and women’s cross country. The
College of Idaho is currently in third with 141 points after finishing sixth and 10
th in women’s and men’s cross country, respectively. In a three way tie for fourth,
Aquinas, Southern Oregon and
Wayland Baptist each have 140 points.
Aquinas finished fourth in women’s and 15
th in men’s cross country.
Southern Oregon finished fourth in men’s and 15
th in women’s cross country. Wayland Baptist finished second in women’s and 24
th in men’s cross country.
The Cascade leads all NAIA conferences in the top 10 with three institutions – The
College of Idaho (3
rd),
Southern Oregon (T-4
th), and
Oregon Tech (8
th). Other CCC schools in the rankings include;
Northwest (21st),
Eastern Oregon (24th),
Corban (31st), and
Northwest Christian (34th).
The Learfield Directors’ Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and
