It’s Déjà vu all Over Again for 2017 Volleyball Championship Final Site

LA GRANDE, Ore. – Though the host may be different, the same familiar faces will battle it for a title at the final site of the 2017 Cascade Collegiate Conference Volleyball Championship presented by U.S. Bank.
 
Like 2016 the four teams remaining in 2017 include; No. 1 seed Corban University, the regular season champion and host, No. 2 seed The College of Idaho, No. 3 seed Eastern Oregon University and No. 4 seed Northwest University.
 
Quarterfinal Results
 
No. 3 Eastern Oregon vs. No. 6 Northwest Christian
Defending regular season and tournament champion Eastern Oregon (22-8, 15-5 CCC) dispatched of Northwest Christian 3-0 (25-14, 25-15, 25-20). The win marks the third victory over the Beacons this season. The Mountaineers move on to face The College of Idaho in one semifinal on Friday. The teams split the regular season each winning at home.

No. 4 Northwest vs. No. 5 Southern Oregon
In nearly identical fashion, Northwest defeated a young Southern Oregon squad 3-0 (25-21, 25-18, 25-11). The Eagles (21-7, 15-5 CCC) will travel down I-5 to take on No. seed Corban University in the nightcap semifinal.
 
The winner of the tournament will earn the second automatic qualifier to the NAIA Championships that begin with Opening Rounds on Nov. 18. In the event that number one seed Corban is also the tournament champion the second AQ will go to the runner-up.

Seed # 1 CRB vs. # 4 NU - 7 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 11 (Championship) - @ Corban University
