Red Lion Players of the Week Announced
The following CCC student-athletes have been recognized as Red Lion Players of the Week for their performances during the period December 11 - 17.
Max McCullough
Men’s Basketball
Eastern Oregon’s Max McCullough has been named the Red Lion men’s basketball Player of the Week.
McCullough, a sophomore guard from Post Falls, Idaho, had two incredible games as the Mountaineers won their first CCC games of the season. McCullough dropped 35 points in a 93-85 win over Northwest Christian shooting 9 for 18 from the field with 4 3-pointers. On Saturday against Corban, McCullough had 18 points, seven assists, and five rebounds, but more importantly hit the game winning shot with 1.9 seconds left with a scoring drive while drawing a foul. The sophomore played all 80 minutes between both games.

Shonn Roberts
Wrestling
Shonn Roberts of Providence has been named the Red Lion Wrestler of the Week.
Roberts, a sophomore from Columbia Falls, Mont., went 3-2 in a stacked field at the Reno Tournament of Champions, including 2 pins. One of those pins came against an NCAA Division I wrestler of Oregon State, and both of his losses were to NCAA DI wrestlers.

Remi Mejia
Women’s Basketball
Southern Oregon’s Remi Mejia has been named the Red Lion women’s basketball Player of the Week.
Mejia, a senior guard from Medford, Ore., logged her fourth and fifth 20-point games of the season this week. She has now made at least three 3-pointers in seven straight games, going 27-of-55 from downtown during that stretch. In the game against Northwest, Mejia also had a career-high of 8 rebounds.
