College Place, Wash. - The Wolves faced the top 10 Mountaineers for the second time in as many days.  Walla Walla was not able to slow down the hard runnin' Mountaineers, as they lost 109-54.  

Eastern Oregon again jumped out to a quick lead and shot their way to a 39-15 margin after the 1st quarter. The Mountaineers hit eleven three-point field goals in the first period and were led by Payton Parrish who hit four. For Walla Walla, Michaela Garcia hit her two 3pt attempts in the first and had eight points at the half. However, after two quarters, EOU led 59 to 21 behind 15-21 3pt shooting. Parrish hit six of her nine three-point attempts and Mariah Swanson went 5-5 from the field chipping in 16 first half points of her own. Overall Eastern shot 71% for the half.
 
For the game, Garcia led the Wolves with 16 points on 4-6 shooting from behind the arc, while Parrish led the Mounties with 20 points, one of four Eastern players over 15 points. For the second straight day, the Mounties broke a school record for made three-point shots in a game, this time finishing 25-38 for an astounding 66%. With the 109-54 win, the Mountaineers extended their CCC winning streak to seven games.

WWU will be back in action next weekend, traveling to Klamath Falls, Oregon to take on the Owls of Oregon Tech on January 6th and 7th.
