The following CCC student-athletes have been recognized as Red Lion Players of the Week for their performances during the period November 27 - December 3.
 

Ben DeSaulnier

Men’s Basketball
Ben Desaulnier of Southern Oregon has been named the Red Lion men’s basketball Player of the Week.

Desaulnier, a senior guard from Philomath, Ore., scored 41 points on just 22 shots over the weekend, and pulled down six rebounds per game. He also scored 20-plus for the fifth time this year against Eastern Oregon, then went 4-for-4 on 3-pointers in the first half against No. 7 College of Idaho, building SOU a strong 19-point lead.

Randy Keesler

Wrestling
Randy Keesler of Providence has been named the Red Lion Wrestler of the Week.

Keesler, a sophomore from Great Falls Mont., had a stellar two days in the Battle of the Rockies Duals and Heritage Inn Open. In UP’s four duals in one day, Keesler upset the #4 wrestler at 174 in NCAA Division II in a 13-8 decision while winning two other matches by Fall. He then won the Heritage Inn Open at 184 over two other ranked NAIA wrestlers (#8 Justin Harbison of UP and #9 Bruce Valdez of Menlo).

Maya Ah You-Dias

Women’s Basketball
Eastern Oregon’s Maya Ah You-Dias has been named the Red Lion women’s basketball Player of the Week.

Ah You-Dias, a junior guard from Middleton, Idaho, had a career weekend as she led the Mountaineers to two road wins over top-ranked foes. On Saturday at No. 12 SOU, Ah You-Dias recorded her first career triple-double, posting 12 points, 15 rebounds and 12 assists as EOU defeated SOU 81-68. Both her rebound and assist marks were career highs. On Sunday at OIT, she was unstoppable shooting as she finished with 31 points, going 7-for-11 from behind the arc, setting a career-high for 3’s made.
