Big Day For Eagles at UW Indoor Open

Lily Engelbrekt ran an NAIA “A” qualifying time in the women’s 1000m run finishing 7th with her time of 2:57.76. Without the adjustment for the track configuration at the Dempsey Indoor Facility, it would be the second fastest 1000m this season. Sarah Estabrook then followed with an NAIA “A” time in the 3000m coming in at 10:19.62, winning her heat of 23 runners, well under the 10:28.00 qualifying standard. Both women are members of the NU distance medley relay which bettered their time in the event on Friday and still the top time in the NAIA this season.
