KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – The Oregon Tech Lady Owls took down the Corban Warriors by a score of 64-48 on senior day in Klamath Falls on Saturday afternoon at Danny Miles Court.
 
The contest opened up with both the Owls and the Warriors in an even battle. The biggest lead advantage in the quarter was 6 points, as senior Carly McIsaac hit a three-pointer and followed up with a lay-in on the next possession. Corban would keep it close, as the score sat 16-12, 10:00 minutes into the game.
 
The second quarter saw a continuation of similar play with the Lady Owls maintaining the lead and Corban keeping the contest close. Tech held the slight advantage through the first half, outscoring Corban 30-23, as the teams would break for the half.
 
Coming out of the half, the Lady Owls scored the first seven points, which started with a Morgan Robert-Ili three-pointer. Tech, buckling down on the defensive end of the court, extended their lead with a with a 10-2 scoring run and creating some space on the scoreboard. A timeout by the Warriors late in the quarter saw Corban regroup. Reentering the game, senior Maddey Pflaumer knocked down a three-pointer, followed by a lay-in and two free-throws, bringing the score to 49-42 as the quarter came to a close.
 
The final stanza of play brought out the best in the Lady Owls defense, as Tech would go on an 11-4 run over the next 5:00 minutes. Corban worked to narrow the gap, but with little success as the clock ran down. The buzzer would sound with a final score of 64-48 in favor of the home team.
 
On the day, Corban was led by Maddey Pflaumer as the only player with double-digits scoring with 19 points and 6 rebounds. Sadie Pilgeram contributed 8 points and 6 rebounds.
 For the Lady Owls, three seniors ended up in double-digits. Carly McIsaac led the way in scoring with 16 points, while Ashleigh Vandenbrink put up 13 points. Morgan Roberts-Ili had a double-double on the day with 12 points and 13 rebounds.
 
With the loss, the Warriors move to 8-11 in the CCC as they head to Ashland to take on SOU in a Sunday matchup. The win for the Lady Owls brings their regular season to a close with a record of 16-4 in the CCC and 23-7 overall on the season.
 
With a lock on 3rd place in the CCC, the Lady Owls will host a first round playoff game on Tuesday at 7:00pm at home on Danny Milles Court.
