The following CCC student-athletes have been recognized as Red Lion Players of the Week for their performances during the period February 13-19.


Austin Holmes
Baseball- Pitcher


Corban’s Austin Holmes has been named the Red Lion baseball Picher of the Week.
Holmes, a junior from Mount Lake Terrace, Wash., came on in relief twice for the Warriors in a pair of upset wins over ranked teams during the week, giving up no runs in the process.


 Against No. 11 The Master's, he allowed three hits in three innings pitched, while against No. 20 Vanguard he threw two innings while giving up just one hit and earning the win.

Ryan Rosas
Baseball-Player

Corban’s Ryan Rosas has been named the Red Lion baseball Player of the Week.
Rosas, a senior Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., had a .348 batting average driving in five runs helping the Warriors to a 3-3 record on their week-long trip through California.

Seth Erickson
Men’s Basketball


Oregon Tech’s Seth Erickson has been named the Red Lion Men’s Basketball Player of the Week.
Erickson, a freshman from Salem, Ore., scored 32-points on the weekend highlighted by17-points in a win over No. 6 NCU. Against the Beacons Erickson was 5-6 from the floor including 3-3 from behind the arc.

Riley Sine
Men’s Indoor-Track


Northwest’s Riley Sine has been named the Red Lion Men’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week.
Sine, a freshman from Spokane, Wash., in only his second meet of the season, ran a NAIA "B" qualifying time in the men's 5000m at the HUB City last Chance Meet, winning the event. His time of 15.18.00 ranks No. 21 in the NAIA this indoor season.

Sabrina Boyd

Softball-Pitcher


Corban’s Sabrina Boyd has been named the Red Lion softball Pitcher of the Week.
Boyd, a junior from Pleasant Hill, Ore., went 3-0 on the weekend, throwing one complete game shutout over William Jessup and another complete game in a win over No. 6 Simpson.
Boyd came on in relief in the final game of the weekend, tossing four innings of shutout ball earning another win over Simpson.

Tara Moates
Softball-Player


Oregon Tech’s Tara Moates has been named the Red Lion softball Player of the Week.
Moates, a junior from Klamath Falls, Ore., had 7 RBI and hit .500 in leading the Owls to a perfect  5-0 Week. In the 8-16 performance Moates recorded one double and a homerun.

Miranda Langenhorst
Women’s Basketball


Northwest’s Miranda Langenhorst has been named the Red Lion Women’s Basketball Player of the Week.
Langenhorst, a sophomore from Susanville, Calif., registered her ninth and tenth double-doubles of the season in leading the Eagles to wins over Multnomah and Warner Pacific averaging 16-points and 11.5 boards.
