The Warriors, led by first year head coach Austin Johnson, entered the 2016-17 men’s basketball conference tournament as the No. 8 seed and have proceeded to shake up the tournament and the record book.
In the quarterfinal round Corban made the short trip down I-5 to take on the No. 1 seeded and regular season champions 6

th ranked Eastern Oregon 100-90 to advance to the tournament championship game.
Corban (17-15, 8-12 CCC) will look to continue their cinderella story as they go on the road again to face No. 4 seed Oregon Tech on Tuesday for the tournament title. At stake is an automatic qualification to the NAIA D II Men’s basketball national tournament that will go to the winner.
