Red Lion Players of the Week Announced
The following CCC student-athletes have been recognized as Red Lion Players of the Week for their performances during the period February 20-26.
Doug Molzahn
Baseball- Pitcher
Oregon Tech’s Doug Molzahn has been named the Red Lion baseball Picher of the Week.
Molzahn a junior from Coos Bay, Ore., pitched the final 5 shut-out innings striking out 10 to pick up his first win of the year in a key NAIA West win over Corban.

Vinny Martin
Baseball-Player
British Columbia’s Vinny Martin has been named the Red Lion baseball Player of the Week.
Martin, a senior from Pender Island, B.C. ., led the Thunderbirds offensively as the team earned three wins over Top-10 NAIA squads. Over the course of six games last week, Martin went 13-of-26 at the plate, scoring six runs while driving in nine. Five of his hits were doubles while another two were home runs.
Four of his hits came in key NAIA West wins over No. 1 ranked Lewis-Clark State.

AJ Monterossi
Men’s Basketball
Corban’s AJ Monterossi Seth Erickson has been named the Red Lion Men’s Basketball Player of the Week.
Monterossi, a junior from Beaverton, Ore., led the No. 8 seeded Warriors to a pair of upset victories in the CCC tournament, almost recording a triple double against top-seeded Northwest Christian while then scoring 32 points in a win at No. 2-seeded Eastern Oregon.

Kristina George
Softball-Pitcher
Great Falls’ Kristina George has been named the Red Lion softball Pitcher of the Week.
George, a junior from Salt Lake City, UT., had a perfect week as a closer, pitching 3 scoreless innings in each of UGF's wins against Presentation College. She gave up a total of 4 hits, while striking out 7 batters.
George currently ranks 1st in the NAIA in Saves (3), Total Runs Allowed (0), and ERA (0.000).

Lauren Burchak
Softball-Player
Eastern Oregon’s Lauren Burchak has been named the Red Lion softball Player of the Week.
Burchak, a senior from Woodinville, Wash., had a huge weekend in leading the Mountaineers to a 2-1 slate against NCAA D II Northwest Nazarene with a .625 batting average.
Burchak was 5 of 8 from the plate and had 11 RBI’s. She also hit her third career grand slam.

Maya Ah You
Women’s Basketball
Eastern Oregon’s Maya Ah You Dias has been named the Red Lion Women’s Basketball Player of the Week.
Ah You Dias, a junior from Middleton, Idaho, led the Mountaineers in two CCC tournament wins averaging 18 points and 9 rebounds. In the quarterfinal game against Corban she had 19 points and 10 boards in the 76-66 victory. Against Oregon Tech in the semifinals, Ah You Dias had 17 points and 8 rebounds in the 70-41 win propelling EOU into the title game against Southern Oregon.
