LA GRANDE, Ore. – Southern Oregon senior forward Autumn Durand was voted the Raiders’ eighth-ever Cascade Collegiate Conference Player of the Year by the league’s coaches, heading a 12-person All-CCC team that was released Tuesday by the commissioner’s office.

Durand helped the Raiders to a share of their second straight regular-season title by ranking among the CCC leaders in seven major categories: points (16.8, 1st), rebounds (7.7, 3rd), blocked shots (0.7, 9th), steals (1.8, 12th), field-goal percentage (51.5, 5th), free-throw percentage (80.6, 3rd) and 3-point percentage (33.0, 15th).

Anji Weissenfluh, whose Eastern Oregon squad got the other half of the regular-season title and captured the CCC Tournament championship Monday night at SOU, was voted CCC Coach of the Year for the fifth time in her career. The Mountaineers also had the Defensive Player of the Year, senior Donniesha Webber, and two All-CCC team selections – junior guard Maya Ah You Dias (13.1 points, 2.8 assists) and senior forward Stormee Van Belle (9.5 points, 6.1 rebounds).

Walla Walla’s Alyssa Blankenship garnered Freshman-of-the-Year honors for leading the Wolves at 15.5 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.6 steals per game.

Joining Durand on the All-CCC squad for the Raiders was another senior forward, Sydney Mullings, who tallied 13.6 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.9 steals per game during conference play.

Third place Oregon Tech also had two selections, senior guard Ashleigh Vandenbrink (13.0 points) and sophomore guard Morgan Roberts-Ili (11.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists).

The top scorers in the circuit were well-represented on the list, as Corban senior Maddey Pflaumer (16.4 points, 2nd), Northwest Christian junior Monique Thompson (16.2, 3rd), College of Idaho’s Petra Lumpert (16.0, 4th), Multnomah senior Miranda Schmillen (14.9, 6th), and The Evergreen State senior Gabi Fenumiai (13.6, 7th; 8.8 rebounds, 2nd) each earned All-CCC nods. Northwest sophomore post Miranda Langenhorst – who was 14th in points (11.7), second in rebounds (9.3) and third in blocks (1.7) – got the other spot.

There were five repeat selections: Ah You Dias, Durand, Lumpert, Thompson and Vandenbrink.
