KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Amanda Constant, a 6-0 senior forward from Great Oak High School in Temecula, California has chosen to attend Oregon Tech and play for the Lady Owls next season as announced today by Head Coach Scott Meredith.

A team captain this season, Constant averaged 15 points and 9 rebounds in leading the Wolfpack to their first Southwestern Conference championship since 2010 under Coach Shannon Maurice. She was a first team all-conference selection in 2017 and earned all-tournament honors at the Holiday Prep Classic, the Mustang Shootout and the Mustang Tip-Off Tournament.  Constant was selected twice as “Athlete of the Week” and was recently chosen to the Riverside County High School Girls All-Star game to be played March 31. She was also a member of the highly-competitive Triple Threat AAU basketball club that played in tournaments all over the country for Coach Eric Mobley where she averaged 12 points, and 13.5 rebounds in just 14 minutes a game.

“Amanda has the potential to have a significant impact on our team,” stated Meredith. “She has a great combination of size, strength and quickness. It’s possible she could play several positions which says something about her ability and range of skills. Amanda is battle-tested and an aggressive player who will bring a physical element to the Lady Owls. I know our fans are going to enjoy watching her game develop over the next four years.”

Constant is the daughter of Sharon and Chris Constant of Temecula, California and will major in Biology-Health Science next fall.
