He ran a NAIA "A" qualifying mark in each race with his 14.74 in the 110 and a 52.45 in the 400, bettering his personal bests in both. His latter mark ranks No. 2 in the NAIA this season.

Bracken, a junior from Battle Ground, Wash., scored 31 points for the Warriors at the conference meet. His record-setting performance was highlighted by winning the high jump in dramatic fashion with a mark of 6 feet 6 ¼ inches on the final jump. He also took third in the decathlon (6,319) and discus (145-3) and scored additional points in the javelin, triple jump and shot put.
