KANSAS CITY Mo. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has officially released the first and second round pairings for the 2017 NAIA Women's Golf National Championships at PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. The 23rd annual event will take place May 23-26.

Oregon Tech is making their first ever appearance at the National Tournament and will tee off Tuesday from the 10th hole at 9:15 am (PDT). The Owls are paired with Bellevue (Neb.) and Briar Cliff (Iowa).

The start times flip on day two with Oregon Tech, Bellevue and Briar Cliff teeing off on hole No. 1 at 4:30 a.m.(PDT)

The Owls are led by Cascade Conference Player of the Year Janelle Ferlan along with fellow All-Conference selections, Stephanie Koza, Heidi Froelich, and Noemi Ernst. Tech sophomore Kylie Collom completes the Tech roster with Collom playing some of her best golf the last couple weeks including a 6th place finish in the CCC Tournament, as she finished ahead of both Ernst and Froelich.

The 161-player field consists of 18 automatic qualifying teams, which won or finished runner-up in their respective conference, independent or unaffiliated group tournament, 12 at-large berths and 11 individual qualifiers.

This is a four-round tournament consisting of a maximum of 144 golfers with a cut after 54 holes. The field is then reduced to the top 17 teams and 40 individuals (including ties). Competition is stroke play.  Each team competes with five golfers (minimum of four) and the top four scores posted each day are counted toward the team standings
