First NAIA Learfield Directors’ Cup Spring Standings Released
CLEVELAND – In the first set of NAIA spring Learfield Directors’ Cup standings
Oklahoma City leads NAIA with 746.50 total points. The Stars added a sixth place finish in the men’s golf championship to remain on top of the NAIA standings.
In the Cascade Collegiate Conference Eastern Oregon leads eight schools with 479 points and sits in the top ten in 8th place. Other CCC schools include The College of Idaho- 23rd, Southern Oregon- 29th, Oregon Tech-59th, Northwest Christian-76th, Corban-85th, Northwest 94th and Warner Pacific-135th.
Lindsey Wilson remains in second place with 692.00 total points after a second place finish in the women’s tennis championship and a fifth place finish in the men’s tennis championship. Making a 16-spot jump to third is
Keiser with 557.25 total points, thanks in part to a pair of third place finishes in both the women’s and men’s tennis championships, and an eighth place finish in men’s golf. In fourth is
Hastings with 532.00 points after a 17
th place finish in both the women’s and men’s tennis tournaments. With a seventh place finish in the men’s golf championship,
Wayland Baptist rounds out the top five with 516.50 total points.
The Sooner, Great Plains and Golden State lead all NAIA conferences in the top-10 with two institutions each –
Oklahoma City (1
st) and
Wayland Baptist (5
th) from the Sooner,
Hastings (4
th) and
Morningside (7
th) from the Great Plains, and
Westmont (6
th) and
Biola (9
th) from the Golden State.

USA Today.
The final NAIA spring standings will be released Thursday, June 8.
