CLERMONT, Fla. – Due to inclement weather today (May 31), the 2017 NAIA Softball World Series schedule has moved all games from Wednesday to be finished and played on Thursday. Corban University awaits the winner of the LSU-Alexandria vs. Columbia (Mo.) contest and will begin at approximately 10 a.m. tomorrow.

In the game that was suspended due to the lightning and heavy rain, LSU-Alexandria currently leads Columbia in the bottom of the fifth inning, 5-1. Whichever team wins that contest will take on the Warriors immediately following.

The winner of Corban's 10 a.m. contest will earn a spot in the NAIA National Championship contest against Oklahoma City University at 12 p.m. Whichever team advances to play OCU will have to beat the Stars twice in order to claim the National Championship, while OCU will need to win just once (double-elimination tournament).
