SALEM, Ore. – Corban University head men's golf coach Tom Graves announced the 2017 Warrior men's golf recruiting class on Wednesday morning, adding three players to the Corban men's golf program for the 2017-18 campaign.
Corban captured the program's first-ever Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) regular-season title this past year, winning based on total strokes throughout the 2016-17 regular-season conference tournaments.
"The 2017 recruiting class adds much needed depth and talent to our roster," said Graves. "The part about these three men I am most excited about is the maturity and leadership they will bring to our program. I am confident they will have a lasting impact on their teammates, our golf program, as well as the University."
Blake Netter – 5' 10" – Canby High School – Concordia Univ. – Canby, Ore.

A familiar face to Salem, Blake Netter comes back to Corban after playing the last two years collegiately at Concordia University (Ore.). Prior to Concordia, Netter competed at Corban during his freshman and sophomore seasons, serving as one of the key pieces of the Warriors' success during his time here. During his sophomore year at Corban, he averaged 76.71 strokes per round, while at Concordia, he actually led the team with a 73.00 scoring average. Netter will complete his final year of eligibility during the 2017-18 season at Corban.
He is set to graduate from the Corban Hoff School of Business in the spring of 2018.
Coach Graves had this to say about Netter:
"Blake returns to Corban after attending Concordia University (Ore.) for two years. He led their team with a 73.00 scoring average and I am confident he will make an immediate impact to our top-five. I have had the pleasure of being Blake's teammate for two years (2013-2015), and I could not be happier to be his coach for his final year of eligibility at Corban. Blake currently works at Creekside Golf Club and will graduate from our great Hoff School of Business this coming spring! Welcome back, Blake!"
RJ David – 5' 9" – Valley Christian High School – Tempe, Ariz.

Hailing from Tempe, Ariz., RJ David joins the Warrior squad and will look to compete for one of the top-five spots immediately with Corban. During his high school career, he competed all four years on the varsity squad, and he was named to the D3 Golf First Team in Arizona.
David plans to major in Criminal Justice at Corban.
Coach Graves had this to say about David:
"RJ comes in as a true freshman after a great high school career, competing all over the west coast. His tournament scores are very impressive and we expect that he will be in the mix for one of the spots on our top-5 right away. As we recruited RJ, we were very impressed with his sincerity, demeanor, and mental toughness. He will be the perfect fit for Corban as well as our men's golf team. We cannot wait to have you aboard, RJ!"
Nolan Urbach – 5' 11" – Newport High School – Upper Iowa Univ. – Newport, Ore.

Following serving four years in the army, Nolan Urbach returns to his home state to compete on the Corban men's golf team. While playing three sports in high school, Urbach will provide leadership both and off the course for the Warriors.
Urbach plans to major in Criminal Justice at Corban.
Coach Graves had this to say about Urbach:
"I have had the privilege of knowing Nolan for about 10 years now. Nolan comes straight out of the army after serving for four years on various bases in locations such as Oklahoma and Alaska. While he is relatively new to competition golf, he has a lot of potential being a natural athlete. We are excited for the veteran leadership he will provide to our team, as well as the positive contributions we know he will make to our great university. Thanks for your service, Nolan, and welcome to our Warrior family!"
