Red Lion Players of the Week Announced
LA GRANDE, Ore. –
The following CCC student-athletes have been recognized as Red Lion Players of the Week for their performances during the period August 14-20.
Brenna Meehan
Volleyball-Attacker
The College of Idaho’s Brenna Meehan has been chosen as the Red Lion volleyball attacker of the week.
Meehan, a senior from Post Falls, ID, helped lead her team to a 4-0 start at the Hope International Summer Slam. Over four games Meehan recorded 68 kills and 37 digs. Against Vanguard University Meehan became just the eighth C of I player to record 27 or more kills in a match, setting a career high in the 5-set win.

Alysanne Van Dyke
Volleyball-Defender
Northwest’s Alysanne Van Dyke has been named the Red Lion volleyball Defender of the Week.
Van Dyke, a senior from Edmonds, Wash., led the Eagles in digs and service aces in the four matches at the 2017 Summer Slam. Her 96 digs puts her in the No. 5 spot in the NAIA and No. 1 in the CCC in digs per game (6.4).

Marija Djonovic
Volleyball-Setter
College of Idaho’s Marija Djonovic has been named the Red Lion volleyball Setter of the Week.
Djonovic, a junior from Podorica, Montenegro, led the Yotes with 186 assists, averaging 11.63 in four wins. The debut performance for Djonovic also included 34 digs.
