KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Chase Bohman had a season high 26 kills to lead Oregon Tech (5-5, 3-3 CCC) to a five set 3-2 (25-27, 27-25, 19-25, 25-15, 15-11) Cascade conference win over Evergreen State (4-10, 1-6 CCC) Friday night at Danny Miles Court.
For the Geoducks it was their third straight five-set loss.
Chloee Hunt dominate the inside in the first set for TESC as she was 7 of 9 for a kill percentage of.778 leading Evergreen to 27-25 win.
Tech answered as they closed out the second set taking 4 of 5 points to win 27-25 tying the match.
It looked like Evergreen would take control after they won the third set, the Geoducks used a 12-2 run to win 25-19.
Tech again answered, with an 8-2 run of their own to win the fourth set 25-15.
Bohman really shined in the fifth and final set as she had 5 kills including the game winner as Tech finished off the Geoducks 15-11.
Whitney Webster added 13 kills on 23 attacks for very good kill percentage of .522 for the Owls.
Waverly Green had 48 assists for the OIT with Isabella Smith leading four Tech players in double digits in digs as she had 16.
The twin towers of Hunt and Natalie Taylor led the Evergreen offense with 21 and 19 kills respectively.
Oregon Tech will host Northwest on Saturday and Evergreen State will travel to SOU. Friday Northwest swept the Raiders 3-0.
