Lady Yotes Drop 1-0 Decision to Rocky Mountain
CALDWELL, Idaho – Hannah Borgel scored the lone goal of the match in the 83rd minute, lifting Rocky Mountain College to a 1-0 victory over the College of Idaho at Simplot Stadium.
Borgel took a cross from Alexis Borgel and slotted home the game-winner past the diving
Brittany Houghton, as the Bears (6-2, 2-1) earned three key points in the Cascade Conference table.
The RMC defense limited the Yotes (3-5, 1-2) to just three total shots, with Bears keeper Maia Wetzel needing to make just one save to earn the victory. The visitors held a 13-3 edge in total shots, with Houghton making five saves for the Coyotes.
All five C of I losses during the 2017 season have been by 1-0 margins.
The Yotes will have next weekend off before starting a four-game road swing on Oct. 6 at the University of Providence.
