Eric Fan Wins Final Match In Front of Home Crowd
LA GRANDE, Ore – The Eastern Oregon men's wrestling team's lone senior
Eric Fan won his last home match by fall in the first period on the Senior Night at Quinn Coliseum on Friday.
Senior
Eric Fan, ranked 10th at 197-lbs, pinned his opponent Micah Tynanes-Perez, while No. 15 redshirt-sophomore
Blake McNall and junior
Drake Randall were the other Mounties who won.
McNall defeated Nicholas Hara by decision 9-6 in an exciting matchup in the 133-lbs class.
Randall managed to get the win against Jacob Swift by a 7-6 decision in the closest matchup of the night.
North Idaho College ended up getting the win in the end of the night by a total score of 28-12, but the fans still went home with a smile on their face after seeing
Eric Fan get a dominating victory. It was the only pin of the evening for either team.
The Mounties will be on the road next, as they head to Ashland, Oregon to take over Southern Oregon on Feb. 3 at 7 p.m.
