KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Oregon Tech (9-2-2, 6-1-1 CCC) scored five first half goal and followed that with three in the second half on the way to an 8-0 Cascade Conference win over Evergreen State College (2-10-0, 1-6-0 CCC) Friday afternoon at the OIT Soccer Field.

Cassidy Gosvener gave OIT the early momentum as she took a Karah McCulley chip pass from outside the box and headed the ball into the back of the net less than two minutes into the match.
Gosvener repaid the favor just five minutes later as she sent a pass to Amanda Seward who scored from inside the box, just beating the Geoduck keeper in the seventh minute.
McCulley picked up another assist as she sent a nice pass to Bailey Pimentel who scored over the keeper in the 24
th minute giving the Owls a 3—0 lead.
Emily Hillestad scored her first goal of the year off a Haley Janky pass in the 33-minute.
Evergreen than scored an own goal giving OIT a 5-0 lead just before the half.
Tech than made it 6-0 and 7-0, with back-to-back header goals off corner kicks. Amy Morikawa headed in the first in the 58
th minute off a Gosvener corner followed by a Salyna Blue header a corner from Chelsea Entrambasaguas in the 68
th minute.
Sydney Lockery than capped-off the OIT scoring in the 82
nd minute as she bent in a corner kick into the top right of the goal giving OIT the 8-0 win.
Oregon Tech has now outscored its last five CCC opponents 27-0.
Oregon Tech will host Northwest University on Saturday at 2:30 pm at the OIT Soccer Field while Evergreen State travels to Ashland, Oregon for a 7:30 pm game against SOU.
