KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Oregon Tech (10-2-2, 7-1-1 CCC) scored three times in the second half to down Northwest University (5-7-2, 4-2-2 CCC) 3-2 Saturday afternoon at the OIT Soccer Field.

"What a fun game to be a part of," said Head Coach Brandon Porter. "I can't speak highly enough of our seniors and their commitment to their team.  To send them off of their home field in that fashion may seem like a miracle, but it is a testament to our group's belief in our system and the people in it. Congratulations to our seniors, we are all very proud of them."

Northwest got on the scoreboard first as Katie Michkiosky scored on a sliding kick that just got past the Oregon Tech keeper in the 34th minute.

One minute into the second half Oregon Tech answered as a Cassidy Gosvener corner kick found the head of Kylie Cowell who punched it in for the score, tying the game at 1-1.

Michkiosky was at it again in the 72nd minute putting the Eagles back on top 2-1 as she scored from inside the box mid goal.

Back came the Owls as Amy Morikawa chipped in a shot from Gosvener tying the game at 2 with just 6 minutes to play.

Cowell then scored the game-winner taking a Salyna Blue cross and volleying it over the keeper for the 3-2 win.

The game was the final home game for five OIT Seniors: Cassidy Gosvener, Chelsea Entrambasaguas, Bailey Pimentel, Ellie Quercia, and Emily Hillestad.

Up next, the Owls will travel to Southern Oregon University next Saturday, October 20 at 6:30 pm
