Coyotes Score 128 To Complete Quinn Classic Sweep
LA GRANDE, Ore. – Seven College of Idaho players scored in double figures, as the Coyotes opened the season 2-0 for the first time since 2015, blowing past Salish Kootenai College, 128-94, to close out play at the Quinn Classic.
The Yotes (2-0) made 57-percent of their field goal attempts, including 16 3-pointers, while dominating the glass, 56-27. It was the first time seven players scored in double figures for C of I since the 2013-14 season, when the Yotes accomplished the feat against both Walla Walla and Evergreen.

Gibson Berryhill led the Coyotes with 16 points, while two players recorded double-doubles – Connor Desaulniers finishing with 16 points and 12 rebounds and Jake Bruner adding a career-high 11 points and 11 boards. Matt Meyers had 14 points and eight rebounds, Keun Palu-Thompson had 14 points; Justin Saunders scored 13; Nate Bruneel had 11 points; with Talon Pinckney scoring seven points with five rebounds and eight assists.
The Bison (0-2), from Pablo, Mont., were led by the 27 points of Kenny Louis-Magee.
C of I will be off the next two weeks, preparing for an exhibition game on Nov. 1 at NCAA Division I University of Utah.
