Men's Soccer Falls to College of Idaho 4-1

PORTLAND – Despite an early goal, the Multnomah University men's soccer team was unable to hang on to the victory, falling to College of Idaho 4-1 at the Eastside Timbers Soccer Complex.

GAME SUMMARY:
- Just inside the two-minute mark in the start of the game, Noe Favila took a pass from Vidal Zaragoza, floating the ball just over the keeper for an early 1-0 lead for the Lions.
- Midway through the first half, College of Idaho scored their first goal after earning a penalty kick in the 21st minute of play.
- Tied 1-1, the Yotes scored the game-winner just before the halftime break, taking a cross from six yards out before finding the back of the net.
- C of I added back-to-tack goals in the second half, scoring the 74th minute and again in the 76th.
KEY PERFORMERS:
- Manuel Guillermo-Olivares finished with 14 saves between the posts while C of I's Bekir Cinac tallied five shots with three landing on goal.
