Oregon Tech Spoils Senior Night, Lions Fall 3-0

PORTLAND – The Multnomah University volleyball team fought hard against the visiting Owls of Oregon Tech, but struggled with their own mistakes, falling in three sets 26-24, 25-22, 25-15 on Jim Skagen Court.

GAME SUMMARY:
- As both teams traded points during the first set, Oregon Tech scored five straight points to go ahead 23-21 before tallying the final two points.
- The Owls got off to a strong start in the second set, taking an early 8-3 advantage before holding off the Lions 25-22.
- OIT found another quick start in the final set before tallying five straight points to go ahead 15-8, putting the match out of reach of MU.
- Oregon Tech hit .287 on the night while holding the Lions to a mark of .171.
KEY PERFORMERS:
- Emma Wall led the Lions for the second time this weekend, tallying 16 kills off of 27 swings followed by Sydney Amundsen with 10 kills.
- Marissa Rhodes finished the night with 33 assists while Rachel Leshikar collected 14 digs.
- For the Owls, Nicole Reyes finished the night with 16 kills.
