College of Idaho Outlasts Lions on the Pitch

PORTLAND – The Multnomah University women's soccer team played a tough match against College of Idaho, falling just short in a 2-0 result at the Eastside Timbers Soccer Complex.

GAME SUMMARY:
- Multnomah collected four saves in the first half as they headed into the halftime break in a scoreless tie with the Yotes who tallied 11 shots in the first half.
- C of I finally broke the tie in the 60th minute, scoring from 30-yards out as they ball floated just out of reach of the keeper.
- Their second goal came in the 75th as they collected a rebound off a blocked shot before putting the ball between the posts.
KEY PERFORMERS:
- Lexis Law finished with eight saves on the day while Mary Richardson finished with two shots while Persia Anderson and Lydia Larson also registered a shot on goal.
- For the Yotes, four players registered three shots while keeper Shae Waters finished with three saves to earn the clean sheet.
