Eagles Shut Out Saints for 2-0 Victory

Kirkland, Wash. – Northwest University (6-7-2, 5-2-2 CCC) beat Carroll College (7-6-2, 6-1-2 CCC) at home for their fifth conference win of the year.
The Eagles scored in the 14
th minute with a goal from Rylee Rassier off of assists from Jubilee Zevenbergen and Katie Michkiosky. They scored again in the 47
th minute when Rassier assisted a goal by Whitney Weaver.
Northwest controlled both sides of the field, shooting 16 times and allowing only six shots from the Saints.
Northwest head coach Bryan Chud commented, “today we came out really focused and ready to play our game. We found our mojo early on, stayed focused, and kept things simple. We played extremely well and got the result we deserved.”
