Kirkland, Wash. – Northwest University (7-7-2, 6-2-2 CCC) beat University of Providence (6-8-0, 4-6-0 CCC) in a neck-and-neck battle for the Eagles’ last home game of the year.
The only goal in the match came in the second half when Katie Michkiosky scored her 15
th goal of the year. The assist came from Jubilee Zevenbergen.
Northwest had 21 shots in the game, and they forced the Argos into a game with no shots on goal. It was a fantastic home finish for the Eagles, a team who looks to be in good position for the rest of the year.
Northwest head coach Bryan Chud said, “We played with composure and Katie took her goal well. I am so proud of this team, and the way we are playing right now, and it was fitting that we won on senior night to honor 9 seniors who have played such a vital role in the history and success of this program.”
