Seniors Lead Knights to Sweep
PORTLAND, Ore. – Warner Pacific kept their slim CCC playoff hopes alive with 3-0 sweep of Multnomah on senior night.
Though the final score reads three straight sets for WPU, the visiting Lions made the Knights work for it as the score was tied 18 times over the course of the contest.
The host Knights (9-15, 7-11 CCC) kept MU on their heels with aggressive serving, registering 9 aces for the match. Melisa Ljuca continued her hot streak with another 13 kills for WPU.
Emma Wall led the Lions with seven kills.
Seniors Kealia Rosa, Melisa Ljuca, Danielle Strasser, Lauren Tennyson, and Meghan Turner were honored before the match.
