PORTLAND, Ore. – Junior Haley Janky scored twice to lead Oregon Tech (7-2-2, 4-1-1 CCC) to a 4-0 win over Warner Pacific (3-9, 2-4 CCC) Friday afternoon in Cascade Conference play at the Eastside Timbers Sports Complex.
It was the second time in as many games that Janky scored two goals to lead OIT to a win. The goals were her 7
th and 8
th of the year.
On the defensive side, the shutout was Tech's fifth out of six Cascade Conference games this year.
"It wasn't our best performance but a win is a win is a win and it keeps us up near the top of the table," said Head Coach
Brandon Porter. "We started a bit sluggish and uninspired but finally willed a few goals in. I expect our group to come out focused and full of purpose tomorrow against Multnomah."
On the Owls four goals, Ellie Quercia (pictured) scored off a rebound inside the 18. Hailey Satyna scored off of a corner kick with Haley Janky picking up the assist. Janky's first goal was assisted by Emily Hillestad on a breakaway, and her second goal was assisted on a breakaway by Ellie Quercia.
The Owls will look to stay hot as they head into Saturday's matchup at Multnomah University at 3:30 pm.
