Daktronics-NAIA Women's Cross Country Scholar-Athletes Unveiled, CCC Totals 24 Honorees

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) unveiled the 2018 Daktronics-NAIA Women’s Cross Country Scholar-Athletes on Thursday morning, with the Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) totaling 24 award winners.

In order to be nominated by an institution, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, and must have achieved a junior academic status to qualify for the honor.

Among CCC institutions—of which eight were represented—Corban earned the highest total of honorees with five, while Northwest Christian and Oregon Tech each nabbed four award winners.
