LA GRANDE, Ore. – The field has been set for the 2018 Cascade Collegiate Conference Volleyball Championships presented by U.S. Bank. First-round match ups will get underway at campus site on November 6 with winners advancing to the final site, Friday Nov. 9 at Southern Oregon University in Ashland, Ore.

Claiming the number one seed and CCC regular season co-champions are the Southern Oregon University Raiders. Southern, ranked No. 10 in the latest NAIA Coaches Top-25 poll, finished the regular season with an overall record of 24-3 (17-3 CCC).  The Raiders earned a first round bye and the right to host the final site where the four remaining teams will battle it out for a tournament crown. SOU also earned the first of two automatic qualifications to the NAIA National Tournament.

Eastern Oregon University (22-6, 17-3), also CCC regular-season co-champions, will earn the No 2 seed in next week's tourney and receive a bye to Friday's action against a winner from the 1st round action.  The Mountaineers are currently ranked No. 12 in the NAIA poll.

The College of Idaho will represent the top seed and third overall seed in the opening 1st-round of the CCC Tournament. The Yotes (21-7, 16-4 CCC) are arguably the hottest team in the field, having won nine of their last ten matches and LA GRANDE, Ore. – The field has been set for the 2018 Cascade Collegiate Conference Volleyball Championships presented by U.S. Bank. The College of Idaho will hold the third overall seed in the first-round of the CCC Tournament. The Yotes (21-7, 16-4 CCC) are arguably the hottest team in the field, having won nine of their last ten matches and are currently ranked 16th in the NAIA poll. They will host the sixth seed, The Evergreen State College (12-17, 10-10 CCC) on Tuesday night.  College of Idaho swept both meetings this season.  This is just the second-ever appearance for the Geoducks in the CCC second-season.

No. 22-ranked Corban University holds down the fourth seed. The Warriors (19-10, 15-5 CCC) will host No. 5 seed Northwest University (16-13, 12-8 CCC) in the other first-round match-up. Corban swept both meeting this season, three sets to one with the Eagles.

The winner of the tournament will earn the second automatic qualifier to the NAIA Championships that begin with Opening Rounds on Nov. 18. In the event that number one seed Southern Oregon is also the tournament champion the second automatic qualifier will go to the tournament runner-up.

Friday, Nov. 9 (Semifinals) -  @ Southern Oregon University

Seed # 2 Eastern Oregon vs.highest remaining seed - 3:30 p.m.
Seed # 1 Southern Oregon  vs. lowest remaining seed  - 7 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 10 (Championship) -  @ Southern Oregon University
